Delaware Heritage Commission - Services

The Delaware Heritage Commission provides the services listed below to assist the citizens of Delaware in programming and education.

Books about Delaware history.  Books can be purchased from the Commission or at one of the following bookstores:

In New Castle County:

• 9th Street Book Shop, Wilmington
• Borders Books and Music, Newark

In Kent County:

• Dover Visitors Center, Dover

In Sussex County

• Books by the Bay, Lewes
• Browseabout Books, Rehoboth Beach

Outreach to school and community organizations.  We would happy to deliver a program or lecture focused on a Commission book, program, or event at your school, Rotary Club, Lions Club, etc.

We have grants available for individuals and groups studying Delaware history
